Christ Baptist church was brought into being after several years of prayer, and now we continue to pray, remembering Jesus’ words in Luke 19:46, “it is written, My house is a house of prayer.

Prayer has continued to be the foundation of everything we do. We embrace Philippians 4:6 in knowing that in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, we must let our requests be made known to God.

We are committed to praying for our church family, nation, world, and those who do not believe in Christ. We offer numerous opportunities to pray in community or alone for the various needs. If you need prayer, select the button below, complete the form, and submit your prayer request.

Prayer Requests

Lord’s Day Prayer

Lord’s Day Prayer is a time of prayer on Sunday mornings at 8:15 am.  It's designed specifically to pray for the ministries of the church while they are being held. This aspect of our prayer ministry is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Intercessors pray for church leadership, teachers, and all those participating in and supporting the Life Group and the Worship Service.

The schedule is flexible with most of those who participate praying once a month. Please join us as we pray and eagerly anticipate God’s hand at work during the Worship and Sunday School ministries at Christ Baptist Church. For more information, email Al and Robin Lyter at ahlyter@gmail.com.

Concerts of Prayer

CBC hosts Concerts of Prayer services for all CBC members to pray. These services do not have a specific schedule and are announced throughout the year.
