Giving of Tithes and Offerings

Until our workflow teams have completed the business details of merging the two churches into one, please continue to mark your contributions for either Christ Baptist or Capital Community.   It may be a few months until the full details of the merger are completed, and we will let you know when we are able to deposit checks under our new name.

All contributions may be placed in the offering plate during worship or mailed into the office (400 Newton Road, Raleigh, NC 27615).  Giving envelopes for each church are available at the Welcome Desk or Connections Desk in the Gathering Hall, and at the desk in the Newton Road foyer.

Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to the Lord's work here in Raleigh!

Family Meeting Last Sunday

We are thrilled to announce the results of the recent congregational vote regarding the affirmation of Philip Webb, Pastor of Music and Worship, and Jim Briggs, Pastor of Discipleship.

With overwhelming support from the congregation, both men have been joyfully affirmed in their respective roles. This strong vote of confidence reflects the deep trust, respect, and appreciation our church family holds for their leadership, godly character, and commitment to the mission of The King’s Chapel.

We give thanks to God for His guidance throughout this process and for raising up faithful leaders among us. Please continue to pray for Philip and Jim as they step forward into this next season of service to the church.

Operation Christmas Child

Share God's love with a child in need through Operation Christmas Child.  Shoeboxes are available for pickup in the Gathering Hall. You may take more than one box!

Monetary donations will also be accepted through November 1.  Make your check payable to Christ Baptist Church and include "OCC" in the memo line.  Contact Victoria M. if you have questions.

Volunteer Training

Volunteers in The King's Kid's children's ministry, come to a party! On Saturday, October 18 at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall, we will learn some things from each other, answer questions you may have about serving, and enjoy the time together.

I look forward to seeing all our volunteers, as well as those who may want to start serving  Please put the date on your calendar now.  If it applies to you, ask your hubby to plan on taking care of the children so you can attend. It will be a fun time for all who come—with food (of course), along with coffee, juice, and other surprises!

We will be holding baptisms during our worship service on October 12, and November 9.  If you feel led to follow the Lord's command to be baptized (either October or November), please contact Pastor Kim Faucette.
