VBS Review

Our Vacation Bible School week was smoothly chaotic....lots of excitement, activity, fun, and wonderful noise! 150 children attended our 2025 Vacation Bible School, and all heard the Gospel presented in different ways throughout the week.  We praise God for His faithfulness in preparing and providing approximately 50 volunteers to be of service to His kingdom.  Volunteers served in many capacities:  purchasing, preparing, and serving snacks; being a child sitter/diaper changer/story teller with the children of workers; Bible lesson; group guides; crafts; games/recreation; set up and clean up. Thank you!

After participating in Wonder Junction, please pray that the children will continue to Marvel at Jesus, and Live for His Glory!

Starting Point

Starting Point is a class designed to help individuals learn more about our church and start the membership process. At Starting Point, Pastor Grant Castleberry will present the grand message of the Bible, introduce opportunities to get connected, and answer any questions you may have. This class is specifically for individuals who are not currently members of either Christ Baptist or Capital Community, but are desiring to join the new church family. If you’re looking for a church home, Starting Point is your first step.

The class will be held this Sunday, June 22, from 9:00-10:15 am.  Register here.

Young Adult Cookout

Join us on Thursday, June 26 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Milburnie Fishing Club for a time of food, fun, fellowship and an encouraging message from Pastor Grant Castleberry. This will be a great opportunity to connect with young adults at our church and get plugged into the young adult ministry.  Register here.

For more information, contact our Young Adult Director

Membership Class

Join Pastor Grant Castleberry for our Membership Class on June 29, where he will guide you through what it means to become a member of our church family. Current members of either Christ Baptist or Capital Community do not need to attend Starting Point or the Membership Class in order to join the new church.

The Membership Class is designed for those who have already attended Starting Point and are ready to take the next step in their faith journey and commit to our community.

For more information contact Mariah Shanton, or register here.

Middle and High School Student Camp

Join us for our student camp, held from July 30th to August 1st. The camp is titled ‘Walking with Christ in a Dark World,’ as we turn to Scripture to encourage and equip our students to walk faithfully with Christ. This student camp will have a daily schedule that will include both teaching and discipleship, as well as free time for games and activities. We believe that the strength of this camp is centered on the teaching of the Word of God, worshipping our Triune God, and fellowship with other believers.
