ChristKids

CBC ChristKids provides a safe and secure environment where we partner with parents to:

• Love children as Jesus does
• Grow children to be like Jesus
• Send children out to share Jesus with the world

On Sundays, ChristKids experience bible lessons and small group breakouts during the 9:00 hour while Life Groups are occurring throughout CBC.  Halfway through the Worship Service, children are dismissed for Children's Worship where they dive deeper into the Bible.  Upon arrival, each child is checked in by their parent with a ChristKids volunteer via a check-in portal.  A security tag is placed on each child with their information and a second security tag is given to one parent that must be shown at the time of pickup.   

Each ChristKids team member completes the following before serving on our team:

• A personal interview with the Director of Children’s Ministries
• Ministry Safe Training
• CBC Attender for 90 days
• Current participation in a Life Group
  
  

Here at CBC, we work hard to schedule volunteers so that they are still able to participate in Worship and Life Groups.  We understand the importance of being spiritually fed and involved in fellowship with other believers.  

CBC choirs provide a nurturing environment where every individual is a valuable member of the team, as he or she is being fostered in spiritual growth and knowledge of the language and songs of the Christian faith. And, we all have fun doing it! Our goal is to help develop Christians who are active throughout their lives in the worship of their congregations. Habits develop through regular participation in activities where everyone feels both needed and wanted, and where spiritual growth is fostered. Choir activities focus directly on the individual’s development as a worshiper, helping all participants become familiar with the language and songs of the Christian faith. Choir is a team where every member is important and every team member has equal opportunities to contribute— no matter his or her skill level.

Through participation in a choir, our students and children will be inspired to learn and challenged to contribute to the life of CBC. Our prayer is that they will become lifelong worshipers focused on dedicating their gifts to the glory of God.
