Church Merger Vote

The elders of Christ Baptist and Capital Community believe that the Lord is leading us to unite in forming a new church. Active members of both churches are encouraged to vote on the resolution for the two churches to join together immediately following the worship service on May 18. We will gather to answer questions, pray, and conduct the vote. Christ Baptist will vote in the Fellowship Hall, while Capital Community will vote in the Worship Center.

Active members who will be absent on May 18 can submit their votes via email to elders@christbaptist.org or info@capitalcommunitychurch.com. We are excited about this next step of faith and ask that you continue to pray for the elders and congregations as we seek His wisdom and direction.

Upcoming dates for Life Groups

May 18 will be the last Sunday for our regular Life Groups until the Fall. Beginning June 1, we will hold a five week summer series focusing on the basics of Christian life.

Missions Focus - With Love From Jesus

With Love From Jesus is an evangelical outreach to the needy community in Raleigh. Thank God for the volunteers who are persevering to serve Jesus, display our unity, and care for our honored guests. Many of those serving are also going through trials of their own. Even though life might be difficult for them, they rejoice in their great God and keep on keeping on. We are blessed to have such selfless and committed children of the King of Glory! Our God is faithful and trustworthy. One of the best ways we get to reveal Jesus to our community is in serving regardless of life's challenges.

Resource Center

Visit our Resource Center at the end of the Gathering Hall to find free resources (such as TableTalk Magazine), and pamphlets you may purchase at minimal cost.  Payments should be placed in the silver lockbox on the wall to the left of the shelves.
