Giving of Tithes and Offerings

Until our workflow teams have completed the business details of merging the two churches into one, please continue to mark your contributions for either Christ Baptist or Capital Community.  Even though we have a new name, we request that for now you refrain from writing checks payable to The King's Chapel.  It may be a few months until the details are completed, and we will let you know when we are able to deposit checks under our new name. In the meantime, please continue to make your donations payable either to Christ Baptist Church or Capital Community Church.

All contributions may be placed in the offering plate during worship or mailed into the office (400 Newton Road, Raleigh, NC 27615).  Giving envelopes for each church are available at the Welcome Desk or Connections Desk in the Gathering Hall, and at the desk in the Newton Road foyer.

Operation Christmas Child Online Prayer Event

Join via Zoom next Wednesday, August 13 from noon - 12:45 pm to pray for over 12 million children worldwide who will receive OCC shoeboxes this year and for all who will hear the gospel message through the shoebox deliveries.

Men's Breakfast - August 16

Men, join us on Saturday, August 16 at 8:30 am in the Fellowship Hall for our men's breakfast.  Jim Young will share an encouraging message from God's Word.

Young Adults

If you are between the ages of 18-30 (college student, graduate student, non-college student, professional, married or single), this event is for you.  Join us for dinner, ice cream and fellowship as we kick off the 2025-2026 Young Adult Ministry year on September 4, 2025, 6:30-8:30 pm. 

We will unveil the official vision for this ministry, and it will be a great opportunity to connect with other young adults, ask questions about the ministry and find out about all the exciting events and opportunities God has in store.  Dinner will be provided by Wicked Links food truck; ice cream provided by Bruster's ice cream truck.

Christmas Concert 2025

Make plans to join us in celebrating the glory of the incarnation at our annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7.  The same concert will be presented at the same time (6:00 pm) both nights.

If you would like to be a part of the special choir for that concert, join us for choir rehearsal on September 5 and 6 as we begin to prepare for this gospel event. The choir is open to all vocalists who can serve in proclaiming the gospel.

Saltshakers Ladies' Bible Study

Ladies, how can you discern what is true from what is false?  Join us starting Tuesday, September 23 as we study the book of Romans, looking closely at true doctrine.  The morning Saltshakers class offers a Preschool program and a Homeschool program for children. Register online and join us on Tuesday mornings (9:45-11:30) or evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Women's Event

Our first Women's Event of 2025 will be held on Thursday, September 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  This event is open to all women, from 9th grade to 99 years old.
